We are happy to inform you that PrestaShop 8.0 beta version is now available!
More than 113 contributors helped create this version and provided the feedback since the recent announcement on PrestaShop Build blog. 130 bugs reported were solved, so now we are preparing to test the upcoming release of the 8.0 Release Candidate.
Amongst many features, PrestaShop 8.0 has been thought to answer developers' needs, with new functionalities that include an updated Symfony version (4.4 LTS), PHP 8.1 support, new developer features and an enhanced security. Thereby, users can now benefit from a new password policy and session management features, support for WebP, and more!
Please note that even if PrestaShop doesn’t require PHP 8.1, and is still compatible with at least PHP 7.2.5, we encourage you to test the latest PHP version available as soon as possible.
Here's the full list of notable changes in PrestaShop 8.0.
